Sankat City (DVD) - Ritchie fans should not miss this. This film is actually more confusing than Ritchie's. Too many characters, too many twists, way too many jokes, way too much detailing and lots of cliches too. Its all over my head now but I must say the film is a nice watch. Never knew Kay Kay could be this funny! Anupam Kher was the best of the lot. Actually I haven't got all the jokes, must watch it one more time.
PS 1: There is a "madharasi" assitant director character (who apparently is an idiot of the highest order) and in a scene Anupam Kher dances with a fat/ugly Tamil prostitute. Very racist :banghead:
PS 2: Bolly,
Racism comes naturally to Bollywood, Bhajji etc. Adhukellam tensan aaga koodadhu...
Watched Jaan-e-maan
Jaan-e-maan was cute..the song is what carried it through...haha kinda funny how a "normal" hindi movie plotline can be fully summarized through one song...Anupam's dwarf no where near KH's...actually was surprised at Akhshay's emotional side...have only seen him be a goof...and God that Laugh! Could not warm up to Salman's character though.
Life in a Metro - Good. Climax was dramatic and the Dharmendra episode was a little weak. Could have been subtler. Best part of the film is the acting. Fantabulous. With a cast comprising Konkona, Kay Kay, Irfan I did not expect anything less but Silppaa
