Another rib tickling funda of Venkat Prabhu is on the way so, beware of that stomach ache that follows after a hearty laugh.
Now the news - Soundarya Rajinikanth’s debut production ‘Goa’ is fast on the heels of completion and will have its audio launch in a very grand manner on December 23rd.
Following the consequent hits of Yuvan-Venkat Prabhu combo in ‘Chennai 28’, and ‘Saroja’ every single ear is eager for the tunes of ‘Goa’. We hear that the album has just 9 songs in total (Wow) which is penned by Vaali and Gangai Amaran.
Yuvan had made Illayaraja, SP Balasubramaniam, Shankar Mahadevan, Karthik Raja, Parthi Basker, Venkat Prabhu, Premji, Krish, Chitra, Suchitra, Tanvi, Mamta Mohandas, Andrea and Ajeesh to render their voices for the album. In fact this is absolutely a real big list of singer for one single album.

The audio launch of Goa is scheduled to be held at the Nandambakkam Trade Centre in Chennai on December 23rd, 2009. The film’s music has been scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Interestingly, a song in Goa is rendered by the film’s director Venkat Prabhu, music director Yuvan Shankar Raja, Karthik Raja, Premji and Bavatharani. It is worth a mention here that Yuvan Shankar Raja, Karthik Raja and Bavatharani are Ilayaraja’s descendants, Venkat Prabhu and Premji are Gangai Amaren’s sons.

The team of ‘Goa’ is already pepped up with its great audio launch plans. Having the launch function in a couple of weeks, we have got an interesting bit about Goa’s audio.
As we all know, ‘Goa’ is almost a family affair with Venkat Prabhu directing the film, having his bro Premji as one among the heroes and got Yuvan doing music for the film. They have made this even bigger by doing a song by bringing in almost the entire family - Call it a family song…
A song that goes like, “Ezhu Thalaimuraikkum” was crooned by 5 singers for Yuvan’s lively music. The song was penned by Venkat Prabhu’s dad cum Yuvan’s uncle, Gangai Amaran. Guess who are the five singers of this song? Bhavadharani, Karthik Raja,Venkat Prabhu, Premji and Yuvan.
Venkat Prabhu jokingly said that this song can be hereafter used as their family song that tells a lot about their native place and more…
