After logging into the hub, the updated threads and sections are marked in Yellow. But after couple of PAGE REFRESH, the color disappears. any reason for this :? Any settings that I should turn OFF / ON :?:

FYI, I am using FireFox 3 Beta
Marking of last updated threads/posts depends on when you visited the site last. So if you keep refreshing, the latest visited time will reset to the previous refreshed time, and the yellow markings will show only if there was any new post between these times.

Guys for some reason .. my posts was 399 now its 355 will I ever cross 500? :(
This has been answered several times. Many threads (like coffee corner, games, etc) are periodically pruned to conserve space, so the post counts will drop whenever the pruning process kicks in.

...only in One matter, the Conversion- Link is not able to get the due Result.

That is... Conversion from UNICODE to TSC.

But I am sorry to reiterate that this Guidance... You have already provided in the relevant Head as aove...

..on Conversion FROM UNICODE TO TSC also...

...which I have repeatedly tried in vain.... and I had communicated to you only after such a problem.

Whereas in the other case of TSC TO UNICODE... there is No problem.

In brief... please let me know the sequence of processes after Copying & Pasting.the UNICODE FONT....

...To get TSC?

But on a different note, let all of us who write in Tamil try and adopt UNicode as the standard and minimize, if not stop the usage of TSC.

It is the existence of a zillion fonts that further inhibits the readability and spread, while Unicode can be read without any supporting fonts in the systems of the users. More informed hubbers may comment on other systemic advantages of unicode.

Unicode has been adopted by giants like google, msn etc. as the standard in which Tamil will be read/recognized. Integrating into it greatly helps universalizing the language on the web.

..parallelly with another Facility of TSC to UNICODE... on which I have No Problem.

On your latest advice...I have again tried now repeatedly... but in Vain.

But now...

Most phones - even smartphones - have limited tamil font support, but they'll catch up soon.
