This week's Podcast is about "Azhagiyasingar – Narasimhar - Thiruvelukkai".

The Moolavar is Azhagiyasingar – Narasimhar is also called as Mukunda Nayakar in a standing posture and the thayar is known as Amruthavalli also called Velukkaivalli. As per the legend it is believed that Lord Narasimha at the Hastishalia caves in the Attigiri sanctum hill, manifested himself yet again as Narasimhar and chasedaway the demons from the vicinity and stayed at this kshetram as Yoga Narasimhar. Since the Lord stayed at this place at His pleasure (Vel means desire), this place is called Velukkai.
