There are people who give more interest to a movie, if it has Trisha in it!

People have started putting Trisha to the backburner because she has been in the industry for long! Sad state of affairs for Tamil heroines. A Kajol can still be numero uno for 14 years, a Madhuri has ruled us for dont know how many years, a Rani is hitting her peak after her 6th or 7th year..

But a Tamil heroine is FINISHED (or considered OLD) in 4-5 years!

I agree with you, kolly. It is true Shriya is ready to give glamour and "more than that" if it is desired. And I believe she is more attractive when she "shows off" and she does have something to show off.

On the other hand, Asin does not need to do that as she looks charming and pretty in her facial expression. She should stick to that image to last long imho. If she shows glamour it might back fire on her.

One another actress was Nadhiya who had strict principles on her on-screen show, and always careful like Asin today. Not ready to please as the directors' desires. But she could survive for a while and still has a decent image.

By the way, I still enjoy Nadhiya - Rajni combo in Rajadhi Raja. She was beautiful and her dance with Rajni was enjoyable in "en gitta mOdhAdhE" and "mAmA un poNNa kodu song". The lack of glamour did not bring her down in that role. :)

Anyway let us wait and see! :D

Had Jo not got married this year and continued for the next year, I would have voted for her...

She is the only heroine after Simmy who ruled for quite a long long time! Sad that she'z not there in the race anymore! Every year on Jan 1st, I used to watch the "Kanavu Kanni" show on Sun TV (conducted by errggg, Vijay Sarathy!) and I used to jump whenever someone said "Jo will be the year'z Kanavu Kanni"

I felt :x when I watched Bhavana in ECR a.k.a KKS !

But in Veyyil she looked :shock: :D - Perfect for Homely roles. Much impressed with her performance and her cuteness and innocence ! She may emerge as one of the top contenders to the throne this year !

One more point is : She can *act* as well. Only thing is : she should develop here humour sense ! IF that happens, she can be successful !
