Querida: Real crazy (creative) video.

Last I watched was the classic "Rock around the clock" (yes, I had watche d before) when we were discussion rock 'n roll in another thread (http://forumhub.mayyam.com/hub/viewtopic.php?p=720631#720631).

Video is here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsolqP4tscI).

Simple plain video but the antics by the accompanyments is great fun.

Just saw "Curry and Rice Girl" on youtube again. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I love that video! But you know they're song material needs some innovation...it's way too repetitive

True. Like the part with "U LIKE MY BIODATA? B-I-O-D-A-T-A!" It was funny the first time they used it, but after the 15th time, it got really repetitive..

RR : 'Rock around the Clock' is a nice one - "rambambam aarambam" must have been 'inspired' by it !

Querida : i saw the music video - fun with treadmills - novel idea to use the treadmills as props !

ramky,

Most of rock 'n roll are very similar. So, any new song you make, I think one can come up with a 'source'..

roja,

Nice twist at the end of 'arctic monkeys' video :smile2:

8-) Hey i wanted to share this cause it may be amateur and i'm always such a critic about tamil ventures into rap and remix...but well I liked this one...the song more than the actual video but still it was pretty impressive compared to the mediocre attempts i have been subjected to....ooooh that was mean wasn't it? :P

Watched HIGHWAY STAR by Deep Purple. Awesome guitar play & drums.

You Tube Video of Highway Star (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxzJKTWtwZA&mode=related&search=)

While studying in college, I had attended an inter college western music competition. A team from another college played 'Highway Star' superbly, bringing the house down, and winning the competition too. The lead guitarist was superb, esp the section at 04:45 mins onwards (in this video) - the crowd went wild asking for an encore.

I dun like the deal of using famous actresses in clips. i think the only purpose is to attract more viewers or should i say cheap publicity. If they use them in good way, i'm fine with that. But theyre being used like item number girls. Enrique Iglesias Jr. has done this several times, to Anna Kournikova of all people and Jennifer Love Hewitt..

Querida
17th March 2007, 03:05 AM
That's very true Raikkonen :D the one of the reasons why Enrique's "Hero" did so well was because of people wanting to see how Anna was in the video. Even with the Madonna, Britney Spears video and song...it wasn't wow it was just the hype about the video.
