That is a composition by Harikesanallur Muthaiya Bhagavathar, not a popular one as far as I know. If anybody sang it, it is probably T.N.Seshagopalan. I have some of his recordings. If I find it I will let you know. The most popular is Himagiri thanaye hemalathe.
