EXCELLENT MOVIE!

Amitabh , Rani and of course, the master creator, Sanjay Leela Bansali are simply OUTSTANDING!

All have done their best! Esp the girl, who potrays Rani's childhood. One would easily belive she's a blind/deaf child herself. Or is she one?

However, I wish the smooching scene could have been avoided........
Anyway.............this is a movie that will stand the Tests of Time! This is a Classic!

yes it is indeed a poetic masterpiece.amitabh, rani, the girl who acted as childhood rani<if u wonder if she really is blind , deaf and dumb in real life the answer is no but her acting personifies everything real.another actress who has done a splendid job is michelle's mother charcter.everybody keeps praising rani and amitabh and this women who plays a mother charcvter needs a special mention.BLACK is defenitely a classic.kudos to sanjay leela bhansali!!!!

The girl who plays Ran's childhood is Ayesha Kapoor. Marvellous job, rite? And the mother is brilliantly portrayed by Theatre Personality Shernaaz.
