vehicular increase-is it a problem?

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have to attend a debate in the near future on the topic " Does vehicular increase pose a problem?"... I'd go for speaking against it ...after all a largely populous nation such as ours is not self sufficient in mechanized vehicles(ask those people travelling squeezed in metro buses and of course the rural people who have little prospects for better public transport because of our lesser automobile prodn.)
Anyway i'd like to know if u people have any insight on this...

You are going to Speak against ...IT ?... Suicidal Argument-Stand !!

No Experts are Necessary to DEFEAT you in the Debate.... Even I can fail you.

If you take up such an UNREALISTIC stand.. Quite FLIMSY !! How?

Vehicular-increase is the Order of the day... as well as the Modern-day's Dire-NECESSITY.... By discouraging it the Growth of the Nation, as well as the Individual's Time-Commitments will be upset.... apart from other justifications for such an additional Expenditure for even a Middle-class Executive.

Then...Does vehicular increase pose a problem?

Yes... Indeed... it causes several new Problems.... So to say... Vehicular- Increase is No doubt a multi-faceted Problem.... How?

(1) It causes Traffic-Jam... Bottle-neck-Blockages... upsetting the Time-panning & Implementation of various Road-users.... including Emergencies.

(2) It causes avaidable accidents especialy to Human-lives which are more precious than the Material-losses involved.

(3) By increase in the Emission of Smoke..a Serious Atmosphereic-pollution, especially due to Carbon-monoxide content which is a dangerous inhalant poisonous gas.... in general such excessive pollution seriously affects the Public-Health and Hygeine. of all Living-beings around.

(4) It seriously and cumulatively affects the Ecological-balance culminating in GREEN-HOUSE EFFECT... of over-warming-up the Earthen Surface.... the Grave Danger ... posing the Contemporary Mankind... one of the causes of Tsunami like Natural-disasters.,

(5) Day by Day Increase of Fuel-Requirements... which natural-wealth is a limited Storage badly depleting.... posing a challlenge to the Survival of our Posterity just in about 150 years.... so fast degradation !!

Then if both the Questions ... Pro and Anti are Not Correct ...

... What should be our Approach?

(1) Road- Vehicular-Increase should be encouraged ...in a planned- manner inter-linking all the factors involved... but... side by side... we should think of the Field-Realities also and pre-solve such resultant-problems.

(2) Increase the Road-capacities by number, width, Quantity and Load-factors... based on frequent Traffic-Surveys.

(3) Relieve the Road-Traffic restricting to bare minimum by the dint of increased Rail-Traffic-facilities ... as a parallel Option at every point of Consumers' demand..

(4) Long-distance coverage by Railways should be restricted to minimum by substituting it by abundant Air-flights including smaller-size Aircrafts And Helicopters... to operate between all the District Headquarter towns to the Maximum possible extent....(which wil need fast development of Hundreds of new Airports and Helipads. thus reducing the over-packed congestion in any sector. Eventually the Traffic-means are eased out in all respects.

(5) More Fuel-efficient Engines should be invented and improved upon.

(6) The present Endeavour for alternate Energies... should be speeded up as well as more seriously... such that the Petroleum fuels are consumed within its permissible rate per year. coupled with Far-sight.

This problem NOT ONLY exists for India ... but for all the World countries to day... including this advanced Country America.

See...the Roads leading to New-York city ... during Office-commencing and Closing- Hours... every day...

... and every time... all through the Day... within the New-York city also!

... as also Paris City...in France... even at the Main junction of 12 Main Roads meeting-point !!!

Not only in Bombay... Kolkata... Panagal-Park & Parrys at Chennai city.

No doubt you can take up different stand from others ... if you want to oppose..


but NOT Such a Square Blatant Opposition to this BURNING-PROBLEM
