| Quote: | | With Lingusamy’s ‘Paiyya’ nearing completion, sources have revealed the buzz that the film’s audio is likely to be launched on November 22. Think Music has acquired audio rights of the film and nothing has been confirmed about the chief guests and other details. It’s worth mentioning that Lingusamy had joined hands with Yuvan Shankar Raja for his production ‘Deepavali’. |

‘Paiya’ music making its way…
IndiaGlitz [Thursday, November 19, 2009]
One can hear the rustle of Karthi-Tamannah starrer ‘Paiya’ now and then in the circles. Directed by Lingusamy, the movie is based on a road adventure, laced with paced action. ‘Paiya’ as of now is rushing towards its shooting end.
At present, the buzz is around the movie’s music which is soon going to be launched on 22nd. At this audio launch two songs and a trailer will be screened.
The music album of ‘Paiya’ has served as a platform to several budding singers. Here we have a peek into the audio list:
“Thuli Thuli Mazhaiyaai” is sung by Haricharan, Thanvi, “Poongatre Poongatre” by Benny Dayal, “Adada Mazhada” by Rahul Nambiar, Saindhavi, “Suthuthe Suthuthe Bhoomi” by Karthi, Sunitha Sarathy and finally “En Kadhal Solla” by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Thanvi.
Out of these, three songs were composed in Singapore while most of the songs have whipped out the magic of Na Muthukumar-Yuvan in their best. One will be pulled into the remarkable racy lyrics, which Na Muthukumar is said to have penned within short time span.
Interestingly, ‘Paiya’ has brought Yuvan together with the director second time after ‘Sandakozhi’ and similarly, along with Thirupathi Brothers after ‘Deepavali’.
Wait to catch the songs of ‘Paiya’ on www.raaga.com soon!

| Quote: | Paiya: The countdown starts
IndiaGlitz [Friday, November 20, 2009]
The clock is ticking. With less than 48 hours left for the launch of Paiya's audio, expectations are high on the film's album, as Lingusamy and Yuvan Shankar Raja are coming together after the stupendous success of 'Sandakozhi'.
"Yuvan is known for presenting contemporary music with a classic touch. He has repeated his magic in 'Paiya' and I am sure that the songs will top the charts," says Lingusamy with all hopes.
On the movie, he says, "the film is all about the protagonist (Karthi) meeting his love (Tamannah) and hate (Milind Soman) on his journey. The action packed entertainer is being made in a different way with highways and travel as the backdrop."
The music launch is scheduled at Sathyam Cinemas on Sunday. Apart from big guns of Tamil film industry, the invitation for the event has in it the names of Udhyanidhi Stalin (Red Giant Movies), Dayanidhi Alagiri (Cloud Nine Movies) and Hansraj Saxena (Sun Pictures), the three 'powerful' producers of present day Tamil cinema. |
