We have had quite a handful of great movies this decade in tamil.......lets discuss the movies which had unique screenplay, amazing dialogues, in-depth characterisations and a storyline which amalgamates all the above with neatly arranged nuances......
lets discuss the set of movies and decide upon the nominees for poll.......
my choices:
1. Kadhal
2. Virumandi
3. Paruthiveeran
4. 7GRC
5. Chennai-28

Hey raam is in 2000  ......it will be a landslide and would destroy any arguements here  .....
though i wouldnt agree to Kamal's viewpoints, subtexts in this movie is enough to displace all other movies

Boys is a very honest attempt of shankar  but didnt have a screenplay for second half to back it up.......
PV is one movie where i felt defeated .....i mean, i dislike directors who try to exploit feelings with extremely contrived visuals.......i felt PV climax was very contrived and Ameer was banking on it to deliver but i fell for it.....i let it disturb me for a day and half.....
