Many of us would have known the songs Sonnaalum vetkamada, porkalam, kodiyavale from the film Muthu Mandapam. But two more songs, more melodious are there in the movie:
1. Kannippennai kaipidithu, chorus song.
2. Enna solli paaduven, entha varthai kuruven - sung by P.Susila.

I am sure I have written at length about this song in the VJ thread at some point, but don't recall what I said!
This song is all masterpiece. Early IR - matchless to this day!
VJ - amazing versatility! All seduction and no vulgarity. A fine, fine balance. And to think that she was also singing the Ezhuswarangalukkuls, Naadhamenums, and Thamizhvaendhans in the same period. Wow.
