Nyayam Ketkirom - Another gem from Thirai Isai Thilagam K.V.M. There is another TMS song, Kannan pirandadum siraichalai, andha Gandhi irundadum siraichalai. Very good story but weak in screenplay made the film slagging. And I felt somebody else would have done the role better than AVM Rajan. He had a few more films during this period incl. Magizampoo, Irulum Oliyum, etc.

nice and apt song.. though most of us would hv forgotten this song. I can still remember the lyrics and tune for both "vErvai thuLigaLE" and "kannan piRanthadhum"... lovely..

BTW.. can u get any one of the songs from the film "uyir"..
I think Gemini, lakshmi and Sarojadevi acted and the MD is Ramanasridhar.( avar yArunnu theriyala ! )

Uyir starred Muthuraman and Lakshmi and was a bit on the border of eroticism. Music was composed by Ramana and Sridhar, of which Ramana alias Vijaya Ramani (of Yagasalai) alias T.S. Raghavendar is one. Once I heard TSR mentioning about his colleague named Sridhar or some name and that they two worked together in the light music troupes (not of Sridhar's Navarags). This Sridhar was different. May be in his love for his friend he put the name as Ramana Sridhar. This film was released in Midland Theatre in Mount Road and the film went to packed audience for the first few weeks, where the women turn out reduced rapidly in the second week. But these songs were popular and played in All India Radio, particularly Naanama Maivizhiyil Naanama was played very frequently every Sunday at 3.00 p.m. in Virumbi Kettavai in Madras A.
