அன்று முதல் இன்றுவரை, இப்படியிருக்குமோ..!!. இல்லை அப்படியிருக்குமோ என்று பதைபதைத்து மண்டை காய்ந்து, ஓய்ந்து.. ஒருவழியாக இரண்டே காலே கால் வருட காத்திருப்பு, இன்று முடிவுக்கு வந்தது. கமல்ஹாசன் ஒரு பேட்டியில் "ஒரு படத்தை உங்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்ப்பது கலைஞர்களுக்கு பிரசவ வேதனை போன்றது" என்று சொல்லியிருப்பார். இரண்டு வருடங்களாகக் காத்திருக்கும் இரசிகனுக்கும் அது பிரசவ வேதனை போன்றதுதான். இன்று பிரசவமாகிவிட்டது. சந்தோஷச் சமாச்சாரம் என்னவென்றால், குழந்தை நல்ல திடகாத்திரமாக, ஆரோக்கியமாக இருக்கிறது. தாயும் சேயும் நலமாக இருக்கிறார்கள். படம் முடிவானதில் இருந்து இன்று வரை தசாவதாரத்தின் மார்க்கெட்டிங் வார்த்தையாக இருப்பது "பத்து வேடங்கள்". இந்தியனில் தாத்தா கமல் பார்ப்பதற்கு கொஞ்சம் நெருடலாகவே இருப்பார். அப்படி ஏதாவது சொதப்பியிருப்பாரோ என்று பயந்ததற்கு நேர் எதிராக இப்பொழுது வியப்பாக இருக்கிறது. ஒவ்வொரு மேக்கப்பும் கனக்கச்சிதம். தாவாங்கட்டை மட்டும் சில கதாபாத்திரங்களில் வீங்கியிருக்கும். பத்து நிமிடங்களில் நமக்கு பழகிப் போய்விடும். ப்ளெட்சராக வடும் கமல் முதலில் "என்னடா ! இப்படி வேஷம் எல்லாம் போட்டுத்தான் செய்யனுமா ?" என்று முனுமுனுக்க வைத்தாலும், கதை நகர நகர "இந்த ப்ளெட்சரா நடிச்சிருக்கரவர் நல்லா நடிச்சிருக்காருப்பா !!!" என்று முனுமுனுக்க வைக்கிறார். ஜார்ஜ் புஷ் கெட்டப் அசரடிக்கிறது. இதுவும் முதலில் நெருடல்.. பின் ஆஹா கொட்ட வைக்கிறது. புஷ்ஷை சகட்டு மேனிக்கு கிண்டலடித்திருக்கிறார்கள். அவர் கண்ணசைவு, அவரது ஸ்டுபிடிடி எல்லாவற்றையும் படித்து ஹோம்வர்க் செய்து அதகளம் செய்கிறார் கமல். பலராம் நாயுடு கமல் கலக்கல் பாத்திரம். ப்ப்பா !! என்னமா மேனரிஸம் செய்கிறார். பலராம் நாயுடு நடப்பதில், உரையாடுவதில், ஓடுவதில் எல்லாம் கவனமெடுத்து பார்த்துப் பார்த்து செதுக்கியிருக்கிறார். சிரத்தை. என்ன ஒரு உழைப்பு. Mr. Kamalhaasan. My salute !! பொன்னியின் செல்வன் படித்தபோது நான் வியந்தது அதன் ப்ளானிங்கை. கல்கி, பல இடங்களில் நடக்க்கும் விஷயங்களை ஸ்வாரஸ்யம் குறையாமல், டீட்டெயிலும் பிசகாமல் விறு விறுப்பாக கதையை நகற்றுவார். கமலஹாசன் இந்த திரைக்கதையை எப்படி ப்ளான் செய்தார் என்று நினைக்கும் போது பொன்னியின் செல்வனின் நினைவுதான் வந்தது. தசாவதாரம் திரைக்கதை எழுத அசாத்தியமான Planning வேண்டும். ஒன்றுமில்லை ! ஒரு சேலஞ்ச் ! படம் பார்த்துவிட்டு, அதன் திரைக்கதையை ப்ளாட் போட்டு சொல்லுங்கள் பார்க்கலாம். ஒரு பயலாலும் இந்தப் படத்தின் கதையை ப்ளாகில் அப்படியே எழுத முடியாது. ஏனென்றால் படத்தில் முழுமையான கதையே இல்லை. சீறிப்பாயும் திரைக்கதை மட்டும்தான் நம்மை கட்டிப் போடுகிறது. ரங்கராஜன் நம்பி கடலில் மூழ்கியதிலிருந்து, கடைசியில் கோவிந்த் அதே சிலையின் மேல் சாய்ந்து சுபம் சொல்லும் வரை விறுவிறுப்பு. ஏகப்பட்ட கார் சேஸ்கள். சண்டைக் காட்சிகள். எல்லாமே டாப் கியரில் பறக்கிறது. இதற்கு நடுவில் கமலின் வேடங்கள் புகுந்து நுழைந்து வாய் பிளக்க வைக்கின்றன. கிராபிக்ஸ் எல்லாம் கலக்கல். கண்ணில் அகப்படுகின்ற கிராபிக்ஸ் மட்டும் கொஞ்சம் குழந்தைத்தனமாக இருக்கிறது. பேக்ரவுண்ட் ஸ்கோர் , யூஸ்லெஸ். Devi Sri Prasad has not disappointed me (if you know what i mean). கேமரா ! - இந்தப் படத்தில் கேமரா சுமாராக இருக்கிறது என்று சில பேர் சொல்லலாம். ஒரே ப்ரேமில் மூன்று நான்கு கமல் நுழைந்து யூனிபார்ம் லைட் கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்றால், கேமரா மேன் திணறித்தான் போவார். செய்தவரை திருப்தியாகச் செய்திருக்கிறார் ரவிவர்மன். டைரக்டர் - கே.எஸ். ரவிக்குமார். இவரது பங்களிப்பு என்ன என்று எனக்குத் தெரியாது. ஆனால் இத்தனை சுமைகளைத் தாண்டி கமலால் படத்தை நிச்சயமாக இந்த அளவுக்கு இயக்கியிருக்க முடியாது. அதற்கு உறுதுணையாக இருந்திருக்கிறார் - ரவிக்குமார். Job well done, for executing Kamal's Script. எடிட்டிங், சவுண்ட் மிக்ஸிங், பாடல்கள் போன்ற இன்னபிற தொழில் நுட்பங்களை உன்னிப்பாக கவனிக்க முடியவில்லை. நீங்களே பார்த்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள். டு சம் அப்.... மலைப்பாக இருக்கிறது. சிறு சிறு குழந்தைத்தனங்கள், சிறு சிறு சறுக்கல்கள், சில அதிமேதாவித்தனங்கள், சில திணிப்புகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் தாண்டி... மலைப்பாக இருக்கிறது. எங்கே குறைசொல்லலாம் என்று யோசித்துச் சொல்பவர்கள் இன்னேரம் எழுத ஆரம்பித்திருப்பார்கள். ஆனால், படத்தில் வரும் சில டெக்னிக்கல் உச்சக்கட்டங்களை இன்னும் அசைபோட்டு வியந்தபடியே இருப்பதால், குறைகள் இப்பதிவில் எழுதப்போவதில்லை. ஒரு அருமையான மேஜிக்கை நிகழ்த்திய கலைஞன் எதிர்பார்ப்பது கைத்தட்டலைவிட, அவர்கள் முகத்தில் தெரியும் மலைப்புதான். நீங்கள் கட்டாயமாகப் படம் பார்க்கலாம். பார்க்க வேண்டும். Fyi: I wanna see this movie today and went to a local theatre in Nanganallur ...just heard from the so called C'center guy and lungiwala saying movies is Class.. So I changed my mind and going to see the movie in woodland sympony by sunday.. to watch with our own crowd(A center crowd)...Because verti namaku kittiyachu.. athu pothum..... Kallai Kandal ini Kamal therivar...........

Just back from 10A. It takes guts to come up with such movie. Only Kamal has got it. 3 hours, non stop (no interval) feast. There is no confusion etc. The story is running in a good thriller horse. For a change, Kamal (or KSR?) kept it simple. Amazing to see 7 characters introduced in first 20 minutes. Most of the scenes had atleast 2 kamal in the frame! There was about 10 minutes of pause specially with in minutes after Mughunda Mughundha song, but otherwise, rest of the movie is very fast moving. BGM- Not impressive. Graphics - Could have been better Make up - Very good (not excellent) Songs - Integral part of the movie. Doesnt come as a pop album popping up here and there. Very good usage of songs. Story-Original and extremely good Screenplay - One of the best in Indian movie. Dialogue - Very powerful. Acting - Well you dont have to talk about this. Comedy - Brilliant. KSR touch is there in many places. Kamal's "Crazy" touch is also there in many places. Stunt - Racy and entertaining. over all - 10A is going to stay in theaters for months to come, across all centers. Has everything for A, B and C center. I am already looking at 4th & 5th national award for Kamal (for Screenplay and acting). Also KSR might get his directional national award. Kamal's Viswaroobam. Proud to be a Kamal fan. |

In fact the very tone of the review&the fact that it's so brief shows that the attempt has been to only negate the film¬ review it. 10 roles - yet we hardly see 'Kamal' . No heroisms anywhere. Even Scientist Govind - we could just see him as the character and not as Kamal. Songs go well with the story without being forced in. And the Screen Play. As Kamal said in a couple of interviews, his 11th role - story, dialogues and screen play - is the ultimate hero of the movie :twothumbsup: |
